With Apple’s official announcement of two larger-screen iPhones and a smartwatch, consumers can expect a blizzard of new ads from the consumer electronics giant promoting its latest gadgets.
Last year, Apple shelled out $350 million on ads to promote its iPhones, according to Kantar Media, which tracks estimated media ad spending. (The company’s data doesn’t include search or online video ad spending.)
Apple’s gained fame for not only its sleek product designs, but its savvy marketing as well. Here’s a look at Apple’s most effective iPhone ads since 2010, according to data from research firm Ace Metrix. Ace measures ad effectiveness based on viewer reaction to national TV ads, using a sample of more than 500 viewers.
