In this notice, “We,” “Us” and “Our” implies Ace Metrix, Inc.
We collect only limited information from you when you use the Ace Metrix Service, including contact information (i.e. email address). In addition, if you are a registered user of the Ace Metrix Service, and log on to use Ace Metrix Service via the Ace Metrix Site, our third party provider of online transaction services may collect your IP address, and may also use “cookies,” to access that information on return visits. No personally identifiable information is generally stored or retrieved in cookies.
We collect information about your activity when using the Ace Metrix Service, for instance how you use it (e.g., date and time you logged in, time spent in the Service). This helps us respond to any issues and improve our services.
When you partake in one of our surveys, we collect only that information regarding your demographics (i.e. age, gender, income level, region) and opinions that you provide to us explicitly. We do not collect anything from you that you do not tell us in the survey. The third party vendors who solicit survey respondents on our behalf obfuscate your identity so that we have no way of knowing who you are outside of the demographic information you provide us within the survey itself. Your IP address is only tracked at the system level to assist with technical troubleshooting.

The only information we collect that can be used to identify you individually, sometimes referred to as “personally identifiable information,” is the information (including your name and email address) you may submit to us by filling out the form on the “Contact Us” page, or any of the forms you fill out to download gated content (white papers, webinars) on the Ace Metrix Site. Your personally identifiable information, gathered through these forms, is stored in our marketing automation platform, Pardot.
A cookie is a small data file that is placed on the hard drive of your computer when you visit a website. A “session cookie” expires immediately when you end your session (i.e., close your browser). A “persistent cookie” stores information on the hard drive so when you end your session and return to the same website at a later date, the cookie information is still available. No personally identifiable information is generally stored or retrieved in cookies.
We process this automatically-collected information because it is in our interests as a business to make sure that our website functions smoothly and effectively. If you reject our site’s cookies, or have turned cookies off in your browser, you will still be able to use the site, but you may find that the site does not function optimally or that certain aspects of its functionality are impaired.
To opt-out of being tracked by Google Analytics across all websites visit http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. This allows you to download and install a Google Analytics cookie-free web browser.
Anonymous visitor tracking information may be shared with other Pardot customers. For more information about Pardot cookies, please visit http://www.pardot.com/company/legal/privacy-policy.
The main reason we use your information is to deliver and improve our services. We will use the contact information you have provided to reach out about service updates, and for administrative and customer service purposes.
We use the information you provide in the survey in aggregate form with every other respondent for business analytics. Sometimes we will use paid respondent data in aggregate form when we make findings public through marketing resources (i.e. blog posts, case studies). Again, we don’t collect any personally identifiable information in our surveys so this can never lead back to our survey takers.
