Of the four biggest advertisers in the wireless services sector, AT&T scored the most effective ad in the category so far this year, according to data from Ace Metrix.
The vast majority of wireless services ads come from T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T and Sprint . Ace Metrix, which uses a sample of more than 500 viewers to score an ad’s effectivess based on traits such as persuasion and likeability, said AT&T’s top-scoring “Stand Up Phone” ad resonated with consumers because it was relevant and informative. Nearly a third of consumers in Ace Metrix’s sample said the best thing about the AT&T ad was its focus on the durability of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active phone.
Here’s a look at each of the big wireless player’s most effective ad this year, according to Ace Metrix:
AT&T Wireless: “Stand Up Phone”
T-Mobile Wireless : “Stream Free”
Verizon Wireless: “Need for Speed”
Sprint: “Double Data”
