After this Sunday, the two teams heading to Super Bowl 50 will be known and we’ll have two weeks of pre-game hype, chatter, speculation, and predictions. And that’s just about the ads…we already know 30+ advertisers who are ponying up $5 million for :30 of airtime on CBS during the game. Some ads will use celebrities, some will try to be funny, some will delight the masses, and some will fall short.

Here at Ace Metrix, where we’re in the business of helping brands produce predictably great creative, Super Bowl Sunday is one of our favorite days of the year. To get in the spirit, we present the 25 most-liked ads of the past five games. The Likeability Score is one component of the overall Ace Score, which is the measure of ad creative effectiveness based on viewer reaction to national TV and online video ads, providing the advertising industry an unbiased resource to measure creative impact.  The results are presented on a scale of 1–950.
