Rounding out the list of the top eight funniest commercials are: The NFL’s “The 100-Year Game,” M&M’s “Bad Passengers,” Bud Light’s “Medieval Barbers,” Hyundai’s “Elevator,” Avocados from Mexico’s “Top Dog,” Bud Light’s “Trojan Horse Occupants” and Bud Light’s “Special Delivery.”
- The six most heartfelt ads during the Super Bowl, according to the analysis, are in order: Verizon’s “The Coach Who Wouldn’t Be Here,” Microsoft’s “We All Win,” Verizon’s “The Team That Wouldn’t Be Here,” Google’s “Job Search for Veterans,” Google’s “100 Billion Words” and NFL’s “Inspire.” Five commercials were ranked as “ingenious,” including the Bubly spot, Huyndai’s ad, Mercedes-Benz’s “Say the Word,” Bud Light’s “Special Delivery” and Audi’s “Cashew.”
- Five ads were rated as “eerie,” as they made viewers feel uneasy or scared: TurboTax’s “RoboChild,” Burger King’s “#EatLikeAndy,” Mint Mobile’s “Chunky Style Milk,” Bon & Viv Spiked Seltzer’s “The Pitch” and Colgate’s “Close Talker.” Ace Metrix also rated the ads leaving viewers with the sentiment of “WTF did I just watch?” Topping this list are: Turkish Airlines’ “The Journey,” the Burger King spot, Expensify’s “Expensify This,” TurboTax’s ad, Avocados from Mexico’s “Top Dog” and Bud Light’s “Joust.”
