Chief Executive Officer
Peter Daboll has more than 25 years of experience in the science and business of advertising effectiveness. He has spent his career developing and implementing analytical models and testing systems to measure consumer response to advertising. As CEO of Ace Metrix, Mr. Daboll has led the company in developing innovative metrics and methods for helping advertisers make better, more impactful video creative. He was also the CEO of Bunchball, Chief of Insights at Yahoo!, and president and CEO of comScore Media Metrix. He began his career with senior management positions with the Analytic Consulting Group of Information Resources, Inc., (IRI) and Nielsen where he pioneered the use of scanner data into developing marketing mix models. Author of the best-selling book, “AD-itude,” Mr. Daboll frequently appears to provide industry expertise and perspective on such networks as CNN, FOX, and CNBC, is a regular contributor to media and trade publications such as Forbes, the Wall Street Journal and AdAge and has received numerous industry awards recognizing his leadership in advertising research including a 2011 Great Mind award from the ARF.
Chief Financial Officer
William Scharninghausen brings over 25 years of senior financial experience in the technology industry. He has a successful track record of achievement working for both public and private companies devising policies for strategic international financial issues. Prior to joining Ace Metrix, Bill was the CFO for Obopay, a leading mobile banking and payment provider. Prior to Obapay, Bill was the CFO for Global IP Solutions, a Swedish company headquartered in San Francisco. He managed the group’s financial and accounting operations in San Francisco, Boston, Stockholm, Hong Kong and Seoul. He was instrumental in raising $18 million in share offerings and in 2008 he led the company’s listing on the Oslo Stock Market. The company was acquired by Google in July 2010.
Prior to Global IP Solutions, Bill was CFO and Corporate Secretary for Teachscape, a privately held, venture-backed company providing technology-enabled professional development services. He has also held CFO positions with Vialta, Inc. and Diva Systems Corporation.
Mr. Scharninghausen graduated with honors with a degree in Business Administration in Finance from the California Polytechnic State University.
Chief Technology Officer
As chief technology officer for Ace Metrix, William Parducci is responsible for product architecture, design, development and engineering.
Before joining Ace Metrix, William served as chief technology officer for Passenger, an industry leading provider of customer collaboration software and services, where he led the development and implementation of its second generation SaaS platform and oversaw the migration to a geographically dispersed service-based architecture.
Prior to Passenger, William co-founded Mergere, Inc., a provider of an enterprise software development platform and became vice president of IT and client technical services for Simula Labs, Inc. upon Mergere’s acquisition by Simula. During his tenure, William managed field services, support, and IT operations groups for Simula and its portfolio companies. Prior to Mergere, William co-founded Overxeer, Inc., a pioneer in building access control policy engines based upon the Oasis XACML. Overxeer’s technology was subsequently acquired by Gluecode, Inc. and he served as Gluecode’s standards liaison to Oasis, in addition to serving as co-chair of the XACML Technical Committee.
Earlier in his career, William spent fourteen years as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies including Toyota, Toshiba, and Arco and many more.
William received his B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of California at Davis and his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
Sr. VP, Operations
Senior Vice President, Operations
Jeff Stewart is responsible for all aspects of Ace Metrix operations including the timely and cost-effective management of content delivered through the Ace Metrix LIVE platform and its peer products.
With nearly 20 years of operational and management experience in market research, Jeff joined Ace Metrix from YouGov, a London-based research organization, where he served as vice president of U.S. operations with executive responsibility for all research-related functions. Before that, he was at MarketTools where he was the founding member of the sample service operations team before moving on to executive responsibility for the company’s online panel. While at MarketTools, Jeff helped launch the market research industry’s first objective approach to online data quality.
Stewart holds an M.B.A. from University of San Francisco, and a B.A. from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Chief Product Officer
Bruce Pivarunas is responsible for both driving the client value and actionability of the company’s current product portfolio, and shaping the direction of our future product roadmap.
Bruce brings over 30 years of marketing research and consulting experience to this role, spanning both client-side and supplier-side positions at Management Science Associates (MSA), Information Resources (IRI), Coors Brewing Company, MediaPlan Inc., Spectra Marketing, and the Nielsen Company. While well versed in a wide breadth of research methodologies, the bulk of Bruce’s consulting experience has been focused on advertising optimization while leading multiple marketing mix modeling practices and most recently research and product marketing functions for Nielsen TV Brand Effect (also known as IAG). Bruce’s distinctive reputation has been built around his ability to develop high energy organizations with a passion for the importance of blending art into the science of marketing research and consulting, inspiring business cultures of continuous improvement against the mission of unlocking the power of “compelling stories told simply”.
Bruce has an MBA from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Chief Revenue Officer
Tom Stigler leads the Ace Metrix business development teams across all verticals including agencies, automotive, consumer products, financial services, foodservice, retail, and online publishers. Tom has spent his entire career in sales and business development, the last 25 years building and leading best-in-class client facing teams. Prior to joining Ace Metrix, Tom was Chief Sales Officer for The NPD Group, one of the world’s largest market research companies, where he was responsible for NPD’s worldwide sales and sales operations, as well as NPD’s Financial Services, Public Sector, and Connected Intelligence businesses.
Tom began his career at IBM Corporation where he held numerous sales and sales management positions. He then joined Hitachi Data Systems as a district manager before subsequently co-founding Digital Lava, a venture-backed software and services company. After a successful IPO in 1999, Tom joined WebSideStory, a venture-backed web analytics firm, where he served as senior vice president of sales and business development and built the company’s enterprise sales team prior to its IPO. Tom received a B.S. degree in Radio, TV, and Film from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
