We collect only limited information from you when you use the Ace Metrix Service. The only information we collect that can be used to identify you individually, sometimes referred to as “personally identifiable information,” is the information (including your name and email address) you may submit to us by filling out the form on the “Contact Us” page on the Ace Metrix Site. In addition, if you are a registered user of the Ace Metrix Service, and log on to use Ace Metrix Service via the Ace Metrix Site, our third party provider of online transaction services may collect your IP address, and may also use “cookies,” or small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive to access that information on return visits. No personally identifiable information is generally stored or retrieved in cookies.
We will use the contact information you have provided to contact you for administrative purposes, and for customer service purposes.
Ace Metrix is not in the business of selling your information, and we take your privacy very seriously. In the course of providing the Ace Metrix Service to you and other users, we make limited disclosures of your information to others for a variety of purposes.
We share your information with third parties where we believe such sharing is 1) incident to our ordinary business operations (e.g., emailing you through a third party server), 2) legally required or when we choose to collaborate with a law enforcement agency in the investigation or other law enforcement activity, 3) useful to protect and defend our rights and property, 4) useful to protect the personal safety or property of our customers or the public, or 5) authorized by you.
Ace Metrix takes certain precautions to protect our users’ information and to limit the risk that it will be accessed without authorization, including use of certain industry standard technologies and practices. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Ace Metrix, and you do so at your own risk. If Ace Metrix learns of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. Ace Metrix may post a notice through the Ace Metrix Service if a security breach occurs. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing. To receive a free written notice of a security breach, or if you have any questions about the security of Ace Metrix applications, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
