TED Says These Are Ads Worth Spreading
Ads Worth Spreading is TED’s initiative to recognize and reward innovation, ingenuity and intelligence in advertising – the ads that people want to see, and share with their friends.
The dream behind this initiative is to find ads that communicate ideas with consumers in the same way that TED wants to communicate with its audience.
TED went a step further this year, partnering with us, Ace Metrix to put these 10 winning digital ads in front of consumers to gauge their reactions. We surveyed a unique group of 500 consumers for each ad, and asked them to score the ads across a wide range of dimensions that included Persuasion, Watchability and Emotional Sentiment. These metrics were combined with a series of additional questions that drew from the TED Ads Worth Spreading challenge. The result was a complete view of each ad’s performance with a U.S. audience.
